Does Media Smith upload my files?+
No. Media processing happens on your computer; source files are not sent to SCORPEX.
Does it need a licence key or account?+
No. There are no licence keys, accounts or online activation checks.
Which operating systems are supported?+
The first release is planned for Windows. Exact system and hardware requirements will be confirmed before release.
How does image-based subtitle processing work?+
Media Smith uses our own proprietary machine-learning model and OCR pipeline to recognise image-based subtitle tracks and create editable SRT files locally. This subtitle processing is Media Smith technology.
Do I need to install FFmpeg or AI tools?+
No. Media Smith packages supported FFmpeg and enhancement engines together with its proprietary subtitle ML and OCR components. Advanced users may select compatible FFmpeg and Real-ESRGAN installations.
